Despite all of the craziness in the world right now with COVID-19, Sherri + Shane were able to officially tie the knot! It was a fairytale kind of day and I could not be happier for these two! Their wedding day took place just before the ban on large events was put into effect. Governor Larry Hogan had just announced there were to be no gatherings larger than 250 people. Their wedding justttt made the cut and we were all able to happily come together for their celebration! Now that’s a story to tell!

Seeing these two again brought me back to their gorgeous beach engagement session, where we spent time getting to know each other a little better after our first initial wedding consultation. I realized during this time that Shane was definitely the jokester of the two.

I’ve gotta say, there were so many firsts for me for their wedding day – the first time I’ve ever photographed a wedding in the midst of a pandemic, the first time I’ve ever witnessed the groom perform a song for their guests (something I later learned was totally his thing ever since he was four years old. Song, hard hat, and all), the first time a funny gift was given to their guests and the first time I’ve ever witnessed a full blown face cake smash!

There is no doubt in my mind these two were made for each other – Sherri + Shane, I wish you both a life full of happiness, love and laughter together – Congratulations to the new Mr. and Mrs. Sorrells!
