Well, it’s no surprise that we all have a lot on our plates right now. Everyone is now being affected by the spread of the coronavirus and the precautionary measures that are being taken to avoid outbreak even further…but despite all of that, I wanted to bring some love to your daily scroll in hopes it will brighten your day – whether you’re quarantined at home or sitting in your office on your lunch break.

Melissa + Mel reached out to me a few months back seeking a photographer for their March wedding – we met, like I always do with all of my couples before we book to discuss their wedding plans and get to know each other better and I swear, I felt like I instantly connected with these two! Everything about their plans, their engagement, their fun personality, really reminded me of my own wedding. I knew we were a great fit!

Fast forward to their engagement session on likely one of THE coldest days in February and I was honestly shocked by how long we lasted outside haha. These two were absolute troopers – you would never even know when you look at these images that it was below freezing and crazy windy. At one point, I think we were convinced our eyebrows were taken away with the wind because we had no feeling on our face. Now that’s something we’ll never forget!

Melissa was absolutely stunning – ya’ll she brought the FIRE to this session! It was so obvious to me the love these two share in our short time together. I had so much fun getting to know them even more and discussing their plans. Their wedding is only two short weeks away – and we’re all hoping plans don’t get derailed because of everything going on right now. But I know that if they do, these two will handle it with grace and love.

So a huge congratulations to the almost Mr. + Mrs.! I can’t wait to celebrate with you both!
