Phew! I’m not even sure where to begin quite honestly – Carissa + Brenton had the most beautiful wedding day. I have known these two love birds for…goodness, it’s been maybe 5 years at this point. From the moment I met them, I instantly adored their relationship and knew there was not a better match for either of them! These two just make sense, you guys.

It feels like a lifetime ago that I did Carissa + Brenton’s maternity session when they were expecting their precious baby boy, Sterling – who, might I add, is THE CUTEST FREAKIN BABE (just wait, you’ll see). These two trusted me with documenting such incredible moments in their life. From their maternity session, to their engagement session, to a large family session, to a special little gift for the future hubs and now to their wedding day.

Woodlawn Farm created such a gorgeous background for their celebration. There were sweet personal touches in every part of their day – their decorations, their music, their first look. It was pretty dang magical.

You see, if you haven’t already guessed it, Carissa + Brenton have a very fun filled relationship. Ever since I’ve known them, these two don’t stay serious for too long. So it was only fitting that Carissa surprised Brenton with a first look…..As a wedding photographer, I was SO ecstatic when I found out they wanted to do one, because they’re incredible and I love doing them. But Carissa completely and totally blew me away with excitement when she told me she wanted to surprise Brenton with a first look of his best friend in a gown – little did we know that Matt makes a fabulous girl and wigs look phenomenal on him haha. Brenton was so surprised and it was hands down the funniest part of their day! But don’t worry – of course we still had an intimate first look with the bride + groom!

Fast forward to their ceremony and they shared the sweetest hand written vows with each other, I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t gettin’ all emotional behind my camera. They had a beautiful first kiss as hubby + wifey and all of their friends and family came together during their reception to celebrate their love. I don’t think any of us could have asked for a more perfect day!

I’m really so excited to be sharing some of my favorites – but first I want to give a shoutout to the amazing friendors that made their day that much more special!
