Michael and I have known The Stone family for so many years now – dating all the way back to high school days. We grew so close with Anna + Justin over the years, her youngest sister Rachel and brother-in-law Skylar are two of our very best friends! So typically we all hangout as one big group of goofs.

It’s so surreal to me that this time we got together for another portrait session little miss Emme is 8 months older and full of even more spunk than the last time! I swear they grow too fast!

I remember when I was on my way to this session it was a monsoon outside, I’m talkin’ couldn’t even see two feet in front of my car monsoon. We decided after looking at the radar that the area we were shooting in wasn’t going to get hit with the thunder storm, not too bad at least. When we all showed up it was go time – the storm was closing in on us a little faster than we expected, but we made it out of there JUST in time as the rain started to come in. We were literally walking out of the park when it picked up – Luckily I had an adorable clear umbrella to end their session with.
