Lindsey + Brett are tying the knot on January 4th 2020 – which means they kick off my first wedding of the 2020 season, how exciting! These two love birds have been together since high school, I don’t know about you guys, but I love a good love story. How precious that Lindsey even brought along a photo of the two of them at their high school graduation together  **instant heart melt**

Lindsey + Brett found me on social media, and as it turns out we had quite a few mutual friends in common, we just never crossed paths before. When I met with Lindsey + Brett for the first time we hit it off instantly! I knew their engagement session was going to be a piece of cake because of how laid back and fun they were.

Now let me tell you guys, I have never photographed a more organized couple before! When I pulled up they had their beach cart ready to go, clothes were all hung up so they wouldn’t get wrinkled, props were ready to be photographed and a portrait wish list was all ready to go to provide some inspo during their session. This made everything such a breeze! The whole session we were laughing, sharing stories, talking about their wedding day and what stages of planning they’re in…I felt like I’d already known them for 5 years, which means these guys were meant to be a part of the ACP Family!

We finished our session down on the water for the most gorgeous glowy sunset and I think these are now my favorite shots of 2019! That’s also why they’re displayed first on the blog haha. We ended our session after the sun was set and there was actually no light left for us, not even a little. That just means we really took advantage of every little bit we could!

I can’t wait to be there on such a special day for Lindsey + Brett, telling the story of their love. Until then, peep their engagement session!
