Sarah came into my life what feels like a lifetime ago when one of her besties was pregnant and in need of a maternity session. Sarah opened up her home to us willingly for a gorgeous waterfront milk bath maternity session and her house is now literally one of my favorite spots to shoot! I have been back now three times for sessions in her gorgeous home!

This time around it was this gorgeous mommas time to shine in front of the camera. We were supposed to have had Sarah’s lifestyle newborn session in mid April, but COVID had other plans – I feel like that is the story of the year. But it’s true. When Governor Hogan announced the opening of certain non essential businesses and photographers were given the green light Sarah and I did not hesitate to get their session on the calendar again ASAP, since her little babies weren’t getting any younger.

That’s right…babie(s) – Sarah + Ryan and little miss Opal, welcomed two new baby girls into the world and my goodness are they precious! Little miss Cora Claire and Isla Anne, short for coral and island. When we were talking about their names and what inspired her to select them she explained that Opal, Isla and Cora all represent the beautiful and precious things that God has created. Talk about instant heart melt & baby fever. I just love this growing family!

When I arrived for their morning session, we decided the weather was beautiful and we made our way down to their little beach – they really have the most gorgeous setup. We walked around outside for a bit before we made our way into their gorgeous log cabin, which I totally want for myself haha. I am SO excited to share some of my favorites from our time together!
