There are some families you get the absolute joy of watching grow right in front of your camera, and Danielle and Jimmy are one of those families for me.

I first began documenting these two when I photographed their elopement back in 2023, and since then, it has been such a sweet privilege to continue documenting their milestones along the way. So when they welcomed their beautiful baby girl, Poppy, getting to step into their home and photograph this season for them felt extra special. And oh my goodness…Poppy is precious!!

She is already so sweet, so loved, and so completely adored by her momma and daddy. You can feel just how blessed Danielle and Jimmy are to have her in their lives. There were all the tiny newborn details I love documenting…the little fingers and toes, sleepy snuggles, those brand-new baby stretches and so many sweet moments between the three of them. And of course, a proper family session wouldn’t be complete without Sunny and Milo, their fur babies, making an appearance too.

A New Chapter for the Sweetest Family

One of my favorite things about in-home lifestyle newborn photography is that it allows me to document your family exactly as you are in this season. There is something so beautiful about photographing a brand-new baby in the place where so many of their first memories will be made. No elaborate studio setup. No pressure to make everything perfect. Just your family, your home, your new baby, and all the love that already fills the room.

And I have a feeling Poppy is going to keep these two on their toes in the very best way. She already has that little spark that makes me think she’s going to be full of personality, sweetness, and so much joy.

Danielle and Jimmy, watching your story unfold since your elopement in 2023 has truly been such a gift. Getting to document this chapter and meeting the sweet little girl who has made your family a family of three is something I won’t soon forget.
