There is something so incredibly special about being invited into a family’s life again and again to document the seasons that matter most.

Rachelle booked my Family Legacy Series while she was pregnant, and now I get to walk alongside the Duncan family for the next 18 months, documenting all of the sweet milestones and memories that come with this season of their lives. And now, that story includes their precious Hazel Rayne. 

Every time I get to see this family, I get so excited. But I have to say, seeing little Lincoln become a big brother was something truly special.

He is already so tender and loving with his new little sibling, and getting to watch that relationship begin was one of my favorite parts of their cozy in-home lifestyle newborn session. There is just something about seeing a little one step into their new role as a big brother that makes your heart melt.

And Hazel? She was the sweetest little snuggle bug. We spent our time soaking up all those sleepy newborn cuddles, sweet family moments, and the beautiful, ordinary pieces of life at home with a brand-new baby.

These are the moments I love documenting most. The cuddles, the chaos, the tiny details, the way everyone naturally gathers around the newest member of the family. The things that might feel ordinary right now but will mean so much someday.

I truly cannot wait to continue watching Hazel grow, watching Lincoln grow into his role as a big brother, and watching this family continue to grow in love over the next 18 months.
