Allie + Ricky got married at the Newburg Fire Department, and if there was one thing these two promised me during their engagement session, it was that they were going to HAVE FUN on their wedding day. And they absolutely did.

Their wedding day was the perfect mix of wild, fun, heartfelt, and completely them. Surrounded by their closest family and friends, these two spent the day laughing, joking, dancing, and soaking up every second of finally becoming husband and wife.

The reception was definitely a party, but tucked between all the laughter were some really sweet moments that brought everyone back to the heart of the day.

Allie had a beautiful bouquet dedication for her momma, and their daddy-daughter dance had just about everyone reaching for a tissue. Those are the moments that make a wedding day feel so much bigger than just a celebration. They’re the memories and the people who make it all mean something.

And then there was the weather. LOL The storms were rolling in, and it was easily one of the hottest days of the year, but that wasn’t about to stop us from sneaking outside for some portraits. We braved the heat and beat the rain. Grabbed a handful of beautiful portraits, and I’m so glad we did because they were SO worth it.

There was so much joy surrounding these two all day long. You could feel how loved they are by the people who showed up to celebrate them, and I loved getting to be right there in the middle of it all with my camera.

Allie + Ricky, thank you for trusting me to document your wedding day and for being exactly who you promised you’d be, two people who knew how to have a whole lot of FUN together. It was such a joy celebrating with you both!
