I’m so thrilled to share this heartwarming in-home newborn session with you all! Meet sweet Wren, the newest addition to Becca and Dakota’s beautiful family. This session was extra special because not only did I get to photograph their gorgeous family once they welcomed Wren into the world, but I’ve had the privilege of capturing so many of their milestones over the years – from their wedding portraits to their maternity session when they were pregnant with Sage and some seasonal portraits in between. It feels like such a full-circle moment to see their family grow into a family of four.

Wren is absolutely precious, and it’s clear she’s already surrounded by so much love. Her big sister, Sage, is head over heels for her little sibling and is already taking such great care of her. Watching the bond between them form so quickly was truly heartwarming. Sage was so sweet during the session, not only doting on her baby sister, but also proudly showing me around their beautiful new home. From the cozy nursery to their inviting living room, Sage was eager to share her excitement and give me the grand tour. It’s evident that she’s going to be the best big sister, full of love and kindness.

One of my favorite parts of this session was the warm, welcoming atmosphere in their home, and it wasn’t just the people who made it so special. Ziggy and Marlow, their two lovable dogs, were right by our side the entire time. These sweet pups were giving out snuggles and lickies, adding an extra layer of comfort and joy to the day. It’s so clear that the dogs are just as much a part of the family as anyone else, and their presence truly made the session feel even more heartfelt.

Becca and Dakota are such a warm, loving couple, and it has been an absolute joy to watch their family grow over the years. To see the love they share with each other, their children, and their fur babies is something truly special.
