If you’re looking for Cherry Blossoms and don’t feel like dealing with the insane crowds in DC, then Brookside Gardens is your best bet! Although this place gets extremely crowded on the weekends, parking is a little easier and on the weekdays, you won’t have hundreds of people to navigate around. Now to get to the real reason we’re here – The Dent Family!

I always have an absolute blast with The Dent Family! I’ve been friends with Shaela for years, and funny enough, even used her for modeling practice almost 10 years ago. Back when I took my camera with me anywhere and everywhere and had a huge love for photography but no idea what the heck to even do with it other than bother my friends and family haha! What a fun memory to look back on so many years later!

I have absolutely loved watching this sweet little family grow – Grayson and Lucas are such little hams and look just like their momma! The love Michael has for Shaela completely shines through in every single image and made my heart burst with joy while I was documenting their sweet moments together. It was so hard for me to narrow down favorites from our time together but somehow I managed!

Despite the unexpected cold we had to push through the morning of their session – I’m talkin 30 degree weather and super winds you guys! This lovely bunch still absolutely rocked their session and you wouldn’t even notice we were all shivering haha. Just see for yourself how precious they all are together!
