I’m nearing the end of my fall minis, but not before I share some of my favorites from Ashley + Brian’s adorable fall mini session. These two love birds are return clients for me and good friends, so I always love getting together with them! Not to mention, their session included one very sweet special surprise!

When Ashley booked one of my fall minis I was already super excited – that amplified the moment I got a Facebook message from Brian a couple weeks later telling me to text him. My heart instantly melted because I already knew where this one was headed! He had a plan to pop the big question during their session and I WAS ALL FOR IT!

We plotted, we planned, we shared ideas and came up with the perfect way for him to ask. Fast forward to the big moment, bless Brian’s heart, he was so nervous! When I said my que he looked right at me and gave me this look..the look of “this is my time, isn’t it?” so I nodded my head. As Ashley adjusted her outfit he pulled her ring out and got down on one knee and I was doing my best not to cry!

I have known these two love birds for so long now it seems like, and Ashley has been a part of our family since my sister and I were in high school – so there was some serious feels going on. But I made it! Ashley was SO shocked – she kept saying “are you serious?!” Her reaction was absolutely adorable and I couldn’t get enough of the way Brian was absolutely in awe of her! It was the highlight of the day, honestly.

We knew we had to plan this big surprise within the first 5-10 minutes of their mini so that the rest could be focused on their exciting news! And how funny and adorable that Ashley had the most perfect sign with her she had just created at Board and Brush – it fit the theme beautifully!
