This gorgeous trio met up with me last week for some updated family photos – their little guy, Eli is getting ready to turn four after all…and as I always say – what better way to celebrate than with a photo shoot! 😉

Funny story, I actually work with Kristen – for those that don’t know, I have another full time job working in a Human Resources department as their Training and Development Coordinator. So Kristen and I have known each other for over 7 years! But this was my very first time meeting her loves, Sam and Eli.

When Kristen reached out to me to schedule their family session I was so excited about it – it’s always fun photographing people you already know! Her precious Eli and I made friends instantly! We bonded over dinosaurs and throwing rocks on the beach. This little guy even got some shots with his new toy his momma got him, Diney (he’s a stuffed dinosaur from Jurassic World in case you were wondering).

Now here’s the real funny story – while we were on the beach, beach blanket and all, obviously taking family portraits, this couple walks onto the beach…and then DIRECTLY behind Kristen and her gang, this dude is taking some full on model shots of his girl on the rocks..you guys, I’m talkin’ full on photo shoot with his cell phone. It was hilarious! And I don’t even mean this in a mean way at all! All we could do was laugh because that was really happening right behind them and because those memes we all see of the boyfriend taking model shots of their girlfriends for Insta, we got to actually witness happening haha.

Long story short, we had a wonderful time and I was so happy to be able to meet the rest of the Howell family. I truly have never seen Kristen laugh so much and be this giddy, it was absolutely adorable! I got the most genuine laughter and smiles from them all because they love each other that much! I’m so excited to share some of my favorites with you all!
