Lucas + Haley had me capture such beautiful moments of their maternity session a couple of months ago before they welcomed their baby girl, Scarlet! I knew it wouldn’t be too long before I would meet their precious little love. Lucas and his sister, Jerrica reached out to me about two weeks before their session for an Extended Family Session that they wanted to book as soon as possible since they had family coming in from out of town that they don’t normally get to spend a lot of time with. Needless to say, I was super happy I was able to be there to capture their moments together!

Their grandmother was telling me she has 16 grandchildren! What a blessing that is! I really loved learning more about each and every little family and getting to meet Lucas’ uncle, who was there that week for a special ceremony where he got to do a wreath laying on the “Tomb of the Unknown Soldier” as a representative of Vietnam War Veterans. You could tell how dearly loved he is by all of his family!

It was so much fun doing this extended family session, I wish I had more sessions like this since they are so very important. I’m excited to share some of my favorites from this session with you guys!
