I’ve had the pleasure of knowing Anna since my middle school days, we actually rode the school bus together throughout middle school and high school! So when she reached out to me for a family session with her whole gang I was super excited! And you can only imagine my excitement when I found out there was also going to be FOUR dogs with them – FOUR dogs, you guys! I was in doggy heaven. I really think that if my clients are going to book me for an hour and bring their dogs with them, that I will need an extra hour AT LEAST just so I can hangout with their pups haha. Anyways, we all met up at Greenwell State Park for a sunrise session and let me tell you guys, the glow was unreal!! I am in awe of the lighting for these portraits, this is probably one of my favorite sessions of the year! It had been a hot second since I’ve shot at Greenwell and I honestly forgot how beautiful the park is. I’ll have to remember to visit old spots more often. We kicked off the session with the whole fam, and then I began taking each bunch off separately. We had a blast and I was so excited to meet the rest of her family! I’ve gotta say too, that working with small children is always a fun mystery game since you never really know what mood they’ll be in. Little Gio was so not having this whole photo thing and he made it known that was not his top priority of the day haha. I’m not evening kidding you we couldn’t get one smile out of him until he put his jacket on and was about to leave thennnn he finally smiled, I was laughing so hard since he had us all fooled the whole time but I GOT THE SHOT! His little sis, on the other hand, was ready to smile every second of the session, which was absolutely adorable to witness.
