Lexi + Daniel met up with me at the gorgeous Jefferson Patterson Park for a couples session during sunset time and let me tell ya’ll, it was a dream! The light was absolutely gorgeous, I even stuck around for a bit after they left to enjoy watching the sun finish setting. Life doesn’t get much better than that! When Lexi reached out to me to schedule their session I found out she knows a client & friend of mine, Amanda. Ya’ll have seen her a couple of times on the blog with her man, Tony. So naturally, I already felt like I knew Lexi from the friend connections we have! As soon as I met with Lexi + Daniel, I knew their session was going to be on fireee. Before I knew it they were breaking out into ballroom dancing and I found myself humming some tunes for them to keep the dancing going. Not gonna lie, I all of a sudden felt like I really needed/wanted to learn ballroom dancing after watching these two dance together – the chemistry was unreal! Of course I had them do this in a couple more settings as we walked through the park together. But DUDE! When we got down to the water and the sun was beginning to set, and the light was perfect, these two were shining stars together. They got in the water for me and ya’ll already know I was freaking out with my “yaaaaassssss girl” – gotta keep it real and let my people know how gorgeous they are while I’m shooting and sometimes I just can’t contain my excitement! Also, let me just add that when I found out that Daniel went to the mall that morning to find Lexi’s white two piece all by himself, I was giving mad credit to him. It’s not easy picking out outfits for your lady, and he nailed it! We wrapped up our session after lots of giggles, dancing and singalongs but let’s fast forward about a week later and GUESS WHAT!!! Daniel got down on one knee and asked Lexi to be his girl for life and she said YES! So congratulations to these two love birds! Wishing you both the happiest engagement!
