Mr. and Mrs. Poullard finally tied the knot, guys! It seems like just yesterday I was frolicking through Great Falls park with them for their engagement session. I swear I blinked and their day was here! I remember all week long I kept checking my weather app to see what was in store for us for the day and how prepared I needed to be since it was calling for thunder storms and heavy rain ALL.DAY.LONG. But low and behold, the big man upstairs had other plans and amazingly enough the skies were clear all day for us! It was a miracle! When I arrived to Jubilee Farm I was taken back by the beautiful property, this was actually my first time ever shooting a wedding here or even visiting this venue. Needless to say, it did not disappoint! Allison and her girls were all wrapping up hair and makeup when I arrived and I went straight to work on Allison’s gorgeous details. When it came time for her to open her gift from her hubs to be, we were just in awe of the stunning pearl necklace, earrings and bracelet Brent got her – Brent, ya did good bud! When the lipstick was applied, the perfume was put on and the final touches were made we all made the trip over to St. Francis DeSales Catholic Church in Benedict, Maryland for their ceremony. You guys, I have never attended a full mass before during a traditional catholic wedding, I can’t even begin to say how amazing it was to experience how strong everyone’s faith and dedication was in that room. It was absolutely beautiful to witness! Funny story, Allison and Brent didn’t actually have their first kiss as husband and wife until we all got back on the bus that took us back to the reception area! Of course we all announced “You may now kiss your bride!” to make it extra special. Fast forward past the crazy bus ride full of Miley Cyrus and shot gunning beers we jumped right into bridal portraits – literally – it was the most fun with this group! You could definitely tell the love they all have for each other is real and genuine. It was amazing getting to know their families and dancing the night away with them – and of course I can’t end this blog post without also mentioning that there was a dude that knew every single dance move to “Bye Bye Bye” by NSYNC and I was loving every second of witnessing that! So cheers to a beautiful day, a super fun group of people and an awesome reception – and one more time I want to send a huge congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. Poullard! You did it, guys!
Showing some love to these awesome vendors for making Allison + Brent’s wedding day amazing!
